General Constructions "Ifaistus" was established in 1980 however we have a long tradition in general constructions and tailor-made fabrications of over 40 years since being founded. Headquarters are situated in the centre of Piraeus Industrial Zone with an area of 600m2, and two (2) workshops in Athens of 900 m2 area where major repairs of hydraulic motors, valves, cylinders are performed as well as pre-fabrication of BWTS. Top quality service, long time experience, expertise, consistency, delivering on our promise and taking care of our people have all played a significant role in our success and reputation in shipping industry.Today General Constructions "Ifaistus" employees more than 30 persons with average service in our company 30 years, owns three (3) workshops of total area 1500 m2, expanded to, among others, Hydraulics Spares/Repairs in-house and On-board, and is being ISO classed with major IACS Classification Society. Our workshops are equipped with ultramodern mechanical equipment such as electronic Lathes, CNC, Piercing Instruments and Test Rigs for hydraulic pressure tests up to 6000 bar, by AUTOCLAVE USA.Our long-term and well-established collaboration with our qualified affiliates, ensure the most excellent quality of our products and services as well as the best competitive prices in the market.Guide on our effort is the proven confidence we are entrusted with from well-established and reputable shipping companies.
