About JONG SHYN SHIPBUILDING GROUP

Jong Shyn Shipbuilding Group was founded in 1985 and comprises of five factories, namely, Jong Shyn, Xin Gao, Lin Sheng, Xin Tian and Xin Chuang which are located in the technical area for shipbuilding in Qi Jing District of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. In 2004, two private shipbuilding factories, Liang He and Liang Cheng were absorbed into the Group and Jade Yacht Shipbuilding was established. Jade Yacht Shipbuilding specializes in building luxurious steel-aluminum made large-sized yachts. The group has a total factory space of 9200 square meters. The Group consistently invests in recruiting and training of talents and procurement of equipment for automated production. Ten years after its establishment, the Group was recognized by National Defense Industries in Taiwan as a qualified collaborative company. In 1997, the Group's magnificent performance in automated production earned The Approved Medal presented by the Industrial Development Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs. In 2000, it also passed the ISO-9000 test conducted by Lloyd's Register in Britain. In 2003, Jade Yacht Shipbuilding also obtained certification from Det Norske Veritas. The standardization and precision of the Group's techniques and production methods have reached international standards after many years of effort and perseverance.
