Nederlands Loodswezen (Dutch Pilotage) is the statutory pilotage organisation for the Netherlands, providing mandatory pilotage services to almost 56,000 vessels annually at the Port of Rotterdam. The Rotterdam-Rijnmond region operates with 220 independent certified pilots, covering Europoort to Moerdijk including the ports of Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Scheveningen, Vlaardingen, and Maassluis, with 24/7 availability under all weather conditions.
