Rovesa was founded by Oscar Rojas Gracia in 1971 under the name of Naviera Nacional, S.A de C.V., providing Ship Agency services in the Port of Tampico. In 1991 it was reborn as Agencia Rojas Vela y Asociados (ROVESA). It has since diversified its services to provide integral maritime services including ship agency, cargo /logistic services, and offshore services, while expanded operations to cover all Mexican Ports.
