The limited liability company SKONTO METALS (SM) is the largest dry bulk cargo forwarding company in the Republic of Latvia. The company’s main business is to provide forwarding services for transit coal transportation via the territory of Latvia. As of 2007, SM is 100% owned by RTO. In 2016, SM handled 11 million tons of cargo and total revenues exceeded 96.7 million Euros (operating results).
